In Cold Blood
This is the third series of In Cold Blood which examines the process behind successfully solved civilian murder cases in Northern Ireland and gives viewers a fascinating insight into the world of forensic sciences and criminal investigations.
Throughout the series we hear from the investigating teams including the forensic, pathology and police specialists involved in each case and how they pieced together the clues to solve some of Northern Ireland’s most high-profile murders.
Poignantly, the series also hears from the relatives of victims and their first-hand accounts of the impact the murders have had on their lives. We also hear from those people who were first to discover, what are often unforgettable, crime scenes.
The programmes employ archive news footage, first hand testimonies and unrivalled access to the police investigations including actual photography from the murder locations.
